Identified low cost techniques from literature to improve the FER performance of binary LDPC decoders. Carried out an expolaration of convex optimization based LDPC decoders to improve the error floor performance compared to traditional decoders based on Belief Propagation. I also investigated deep learning based methods to improve the FER performance (especially in the error
floor region) of Min-Sum decoders.
